My facts from personal experience

  • 'I have  NO extra time to meditate'   Yes this will feel like the case in the beginning, however  by introducing meditation in a 15 minute interval  upon rising,  your day is then free and believe me your day will be so much smoother.
  • 'Do I have to sit crossed legged or have a spiritual belief?'  No, the beauty of meditation is that you can do it ANYWHERE, outside, on the train, sitting in your favourite chair, in bed or lying on the couch. The only belief that you will develop over time is seeing the beauty within yourself and those around you.
  • 'I'm too STRESSED, TIRED or ANXIOUS!!!' Practicing meditation on a regular basis  has been proved to reduce our stress chemicals and promote all our happy, feeling good chemicals, therefore reducing our stress levels and feelings of anxiety, boosting our immune system, improving sleep, creating a greater sense of connection to the outside world and ourselves and also improving our emotional reactions. 
  • 'Do I have to purchase any special items to meditate?' NO, just as you are.



MEDITATION CLASSES

Our Weekly Group

  • Classes are conducted throughout the year during Term and each class runs for  60min. You will be gently guided in with the sounds of the Planetary Gong and the mystical  sounds of the singing bowls.
  • Class sizes are kept to a minimum.
  • Attending a weekly group helps us strengthen our own meditation practice and the opportunity to meet like minded people.
  • We warmly welcome new attendees, no previous meditation experience is required.
  • What to bring to class? A blanket, pillow & a drink bottle
